It all shows 0x0

Cause
CAUSE:Health LED and UID are not supported in IPMI, neither by the servers SDR tables.
Answer/Solution
FIX:Support will be added in SPP 2014.02 for Gen8 servers. Specifically, iLO and BIOS updates are required for this.
G7 or earlier will not have this support.

Additionally, IPMITOOL is not able to interpret properly the LED values. The way to gather the data will be via raw IPMI commands. The return values will be:

The “UID Light” has a sensor type OEM LED (0xC0) and EventReadingTypeCode = UID: (0x70)

0x0001 = On.
0x0002 = Off.
0x0004 = Blinking.

The “Sys. Health LED” has a sensor type OEM LED (0xC0) and EventReadingTypeCode = HealthLED: (0x71)

0x0001 = Green.
0x0002 = Amber.
0x0004 = Red.
