Questions/Symptoms
SYMPTOM:Different POST screen is noticed when the server is powered on rather than the default Gen8 power-on logo.
Cause
CAUSE:BIOS serial console port option is set to either COM 1 or COM 2 in RBSU.
Answer/Solution
FIX:The power-on logo displayed is as follows:

rather than
POST2.gif
POST2.gif
FIX:Change the BIOS serial console port option to Auto or disabled which will get the normal HP Splash screen during POST. Also make sure the power on logo is enabled in RBSU.
