DESCRIPTION

Disabling the Integrated Lights-Out 4 (iLO 4) on HPE ProLiant Gen9-series servers with System ROM version 2.00 (or later) is not a supported configuration.

DETAILS

Do not disable iLO on HPE ProLiant Gen9-series servers with System ROM version 2.00 (or later).

The Unified Extensible Firmware Interface (UEFI) System ROM version 2.00 (or later) for the HPE ProLiant Gen9-series servers requires iLO 4 to always be enabled in order to properly configure the server during the Power-On Self-Test (POST).
