HPE ProLiant Servers Firmware Access Update

For most HPE products, support materials such as firmware and patch updates represent a critical piece of intellectual property that enables us to differentiate our products and deliver the innovation that helps your business excel.

To protect the investment you made in the HPE brand, HPE is asking you to validate your entitlement to support materials by linking ( click here to view the document "How to Link Contracts and Warranties to your HPE Support Center Account to Access Protected Knowledge and Downloads" ) the warranty or active support agreement for a relevant product with your HPE Support Center account ( click here to go to "My HPE Support Center settings" page ).

Details

Access to HPE support materials applies to all ProLiant generations and includes downloads on HPE Support Center (HPESC) ( click here to go to the HPE Support Center ) for BIOS System ROM & Complex Programmable Logic Device (CPLD). These downloads are classified as BIOS System ROM.

Validation is not required for iLO, controller components either embedded or external to the system board, drivers or any other download content in the Drivers, Software & Firmware section of HPESC. “Critical” related firmware updates (addressing safety and security fixes) will be made available to all ProLiant customers outside of a warranty or support contract and are governed by "customer terms of use".

All downloads from HPESC are subject to the customer terms received at the time of purchase and/or terms and conditions of the HPE Software License Agreement ( click here to view the HPE Software License Agreement ).

HPE also asks you to validate your entitlement to download the HPE Service Pack for ProLiant (SPP) ( click here to go to the HPE Service Pack for ProLiant page ). Content within the SPP, other than select BIOS System ROM files will continue to be available individually without HPE Support validation on the HPE Support Center section: Driver, Software & Firmware.
