HP ProLiant DL580 G5 Server series - Missing Drivers for Base System Device, PCI Device, and Unknown Device

ISSUE:

On an HP ProLiant DL580 G5 server running Microsoft Windows Server 2003, some drivers do not get installed even after installing the latest ProLiant Support Pack (PSP) and the latest Intel Chipset drivers from the Intel website. These devices show as Base System Device, PCI Device and Unknown Device in the Device Manager.

SOLUTION:

Downloading and installing the following drivers respectively have resolved the issue.

1. Base System Device (iLO Management interface driver - cp005410): see the HP ProLiant Integrated Lights-Out Management Interface Driver for Windows 2000/Windows Server 2003 page.
