Configuring Dead Block Predictor

About this task

Use the Dead Block Predictor option to configure the DBP-F processor performance option. When enabled, this feature can benefit multi-threaded workloads based on improved prediction of cache line evictions.

Procedure

From the System Utilities screen, select System Configuration > BIOS/Platform Configuration (RBSU) > Power and Performance Options > Advanced Performance Tuning Options > Dead Block Predictor.
Select a setting.
- Enabled
- Disabled
Save your setting.
