Configuring Snoop Response Hold-Off

About this task

Snoop Response Hold Off tunes the snoop response time of the I/O subsystem in the rare case that a workload's performance Is hindered by the recommended default setting.

Increasing the value of this setting exponentially increases the amount of time that a snoop request can be held off.

Procedure

From the System Utilities screen, select System Configuration > BIOS/Platform Configuration (RBSU) > Power and Performance Options > Advanced Performance Tuning Options > Snoop Response Hold Off.
Select a value [0-15] in the drop-down.
Save your setting.
