Setting the local Administrator password

Setting the local Administrator password to a different password can be completed in this task. If not changed, then the password that was set during the initial out of box configuration will remain.

  1. Click Set local Administrator password.

    The Set Password window appears.

  2. Enter the new password in the New password and Confirm password fields.

    NOTE:

    User will specify the Administrator password during ICT first boot workflow.

  3. Click OK.

IMPORTANT:

If you forget the password, it cannot be recovered. You must create a new one. To access the password reset utility, click Control Panel > User Accounts > Create a password reset disk and follow the instructions to create the reset disk or USB.
