Determining the HPE StoreEasy Storage system version using the registry

About this task

You can find the current version using the registry.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the HPE StoreEasy 1000 Storage system.
  2. Open a command window.
  3. Enter the registry query command as shown in the following example, C:\> reg query "HKLM\Software\Wow6432Node\Hewlett-Packard Enterprise\StorageWorks" /s
    The following information is displayed: 
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Wow6432Node\Hewlett-Packard Enterprise\StorageWorks\QuickRestore
BASE REG_SZ 6.20.0a
QRVersion REG_SZ 6.20.0b

    The HPE StoreEasy Storage system version is displayed in the QRVersion field.
