What data do we collect?

Hewlett Packard Enterprise collects data on page views and events to improve the user experience of HPE StoreEasy management console.

Page views

Page views are screen navigation data collected when a user navigates between the HPE StoreEasy management console screens. The following data is collected for page views:

  • All the navigation paths used by the user for a task.

  • Bounce rates of each page or steps of a task.

Events

Events are actions performed by the user in the HPE StoreEasy management console. The following data is collected for Events:

  • Successful completion of a task by a user.

  • Number of times error messages were displayed during the performance of a task.

  • Task abandonment (bounce rate in the middle of a page).

  • Amount of time spent on each task by the user.

  • Most time-consuming step or page when the task is performed.

The following information is collected for a page view or event:

User Type Role of user is collected. HPE does not collect any login credentials.
OS Operating System of the client system used to access HPE StoreEasy management console.
Browser Name of the browser used.
Locale Browser locale of the HPE StoreEasy management console used for accessing the HPE StoreEasy 1000 Storage.
Resolution Windows resolution of the browser
Coordinates Location (position or coordinates) of the screen the user is clicking.
Timestamp Time stamp of the activity or event. Time stamp is same as HPE StoreEasy management console time.
Tags Tags attached to actions (events or page views) by the HPE StoreEasy management console
Path URL of the specific HPE StoreEasy management console page the user is accessing.
Title Title of the specific HPE StoreEasy management console page the user is accessing.
