Symptom
A POST message displays: Unsupported DIMM Configuration Detected - Processor %1 DIMM %2. The DIMM has more ranks than is supported by this system. (Major Code:%3, Minor Code:%4).
Cause
An unsupported DIMM is installed in the server.
Action
Replace the identified DIMM with a supported DIMM.
CAUTION: Failure to properly handle DIMMs can cause damage to DIMM components and the system board connector.
