Slot X Drive Array – Cache Module Self-Test Error Occurred

Error Class : 0x000a | Error Code: 0x1798

Symptom

A POST message displays: Slot X Drive Array - Flash Backed Write Cache Self-Test Error Occurred.

Cause

The cache module failed self-test.
Depending on the array controller model, the cache might be disabled or the controller might not be usable until the issue is corrected.

Action

Replace the cache module.
