Managed systems	Description
WMIMapper Click here to download the WMIMapper utiltiy software	Convert WBEM queries into WMI and WMI responses into WBEM. HPE SIM uses the WBEM protocol for discovery and data collection from WBEM providers on HP-UX systems. Since Windows systems use WMI, the WMI Mapper is used to convert WBEM queries into WMI and WMI responses into WBEM. The WMI Mapper is automatically installed locally when the CMS is installed on a Windows system. However, an installation of the WMI Mapper is needed on a Windows system when Windows machines are being managed from an HP-UX or Linux version of HPE SIM. The WMI Mapper can be installed on a Windows HPE SIM server platform or another Windows system on the network.

The Service Pack for ProLiant (SPP) is delivered as a family of deliverables - A full support ISO and six subset ISOs split out by HPE ProLiant server family and operating systems. Each SPP deliverable includes HP Smart Update Manager and software and firmware smart components required for its specific audience.
