website provides customers with multiple methods of locating information. Customers can
either navigate to the information or search using text strings or keywords. Advisories,
Notices, and Bulletins are available in the
HPE Support Center
(HPESC)
.
This document provides tips for locating documents on the Support Center. When
searching the HPE website for information such as HPE servers Customer Advisories,
Customer Notices, and Customer Bulletins, HPE recommends using specific criteria in order
to allow the search engine to perform optimally.

What are the best search criteria to use when using the search engine on
HPE.com?
TIP: Customer Advisories, Notices, and Bulletins can be located
using third party search engines. This document is specific to using the HPE search engine
and the navigate feature on HPE.com.
Note (1): Consult the
HPE
Search Help page
for instructions on using the Search feature.
For example, when searching for Customer Advisories on Linux and ProLiant servers, use
a search string similar to the following: advisory Linux
Note (2): Entering "Linux" + "advisory" may enable the search
engine to return more documents than entering only one of the keywords.
LOCATE SUPPORT DOCUMENTATION IN THE HPE SUPPORT CENTER
HPE is committed to providing an efficient web navigational experience for customers.
Customers will be able to easily locate support documentation for their products.
Enter a product name (e.g., "DL380") in the text search field and wait for a
list of products to populate. From the products displayed, identify the desired
product and click on the Documents tab.
From the Document Type dropdown menus on the left side of the page: Select the Document Type - (Alert) Select the Document Sub Type - (e.g., Customer Advisories, Customer
Notices, Customer Bulletins, etc.)
The Advisories, Notices, and Bulletins are organized by date (most recent to least
recent). The enhanced navigational capabilities allow customers to focus on specifics that
are particular to their configuration, making locating support information quick and easy.
With the sub-categories, customers can readily locate Advisories and Notices pertaining
to, for example, a specific product rather than having to search a broader category
containing all products.
Note: The support and drivers page is available at the same URL,
click the Drivers and software tab after selecting the desired product.
