Configuring Networks
The page provides a summary of the networks that are available for primary and guest users.
To view the page, click on the HPE OfficeConnect Wi-Fi Portal home page :

Network Name | Identifies the HPE OfficeConnect Wi-Fi Portal network used to connect computers, tablets, or phones together. The network name is also used as the Wi-Fi identifier. | Yes | Yes |

Status | Shows the status of the network. The main network remains active at all times. Guest networks can be set to or by changing the status manually or by creating a network schedule to change the status at a specific day and time. Security | Shows the security option set for the network: Secured using a shared password No security (only available for guest networks)—Any user can connect to this network without entering a username or password. | Yes | Yes |
Clients | Shows the number of clients currently connected to the network. Click the client number to open the page. The page provides connection information for clients in the network. See Managing clients for more information about the page. | Yes | Yes |

Configuring main network
The page provides information on the primary network configured during the initial HPE OfficeConnect Wi-Fi Portal site setup. To view the page, select the main network from the page.
The page displays the following network summary information:

To modify the name of the main network in the HPE OfficeConnect Wi-Fi Portal mobile app, follow these steps:
| 1. | Tap on the HPE OfficeConnect Wi-Fi Portal home screen. The screen opens. |
| 2. | Select the main network from the list. The screen opens. |
| 3. | Enter a new name under . A warning message appears, indicating that changes to the network settings will disconnect all clients currently accessing the network. |
| 4. | Tap to save the new name. |
To modify the name of the main network in the HPE OfficeConnect Wi-Fi Portal web application, follow these steps:
| 1. | Click on the HPE OfficeConnect Wi-Fi Portal home page. The page opens. |
| 2. | Select the main network from the list to expand the tab. |
| 3. | Click the tab. |
| 4. | Enter a new name under . A warning message appears, indicating that changes to the network settings will disconnect all clients currently accessing the network. |
| 5. | Click to save the new name. |
Modifying Application Access
The HPE OfficeConnect Wi-Fi Portal mobile app and web application displays the complete list of applications that are allowed and blocked on the main network. Instructions to modify these application restrictions on the mobile app or web application are given below:
To restrict certain types of applications and websites on the main network using the HPE OfficeConnect Wi-Fi Portal mobile app, follow these steps:
| 1. | Tap on the HPE OfficeConnect Wi-Fi Portal home screen. The screen opens. |
| 2. | Select the main network from the list. The screen opens. |
| 3. | Tap . The screen opens |
| 4. | Tap the toggle switch(es) to enable restrictions for the selected application(s) ( ). |
To allow access to certain types of applications and websites on the main network using the HPE OfficeConnect Wi-Fi Portal mobile app, follow these steps:
| 1. | Tap on the HPE OfficeConnect Wi-Fi Portal home screen. The screen opens. |
| 2. | Select the main network from the list. The screen opens. |
| 3. | Tap . The screen opens |
| 4. | Tap the toggle switch(es) to enable access to the selected application(s) ( ). |
